[Donations generated by Original Art Custom Order artwork]
Unissograff™ generates funding to support the education and well-being of children who live in areas affected by poverty, disaster and conflict.
We do this by holding 'rakugaki art' workshops, based upon a theme, where children can freely draw their dreams and aspirations.
Entrusted with those pictures*, our artist then creates unique Unissograff™ artwork and from the proceeds generated by the sale of that artwork, we donate 20% to the charity that works with those children.
You can watch Unissograff artwork being created, and one of our rakugaki art workshops at this link. Our key principle is that we only donate to charities that operate in the same area as, and support, those very same children.
This way we know that our donations are 100% used for the purpose with which they were intended, supporting the areas ~ and the children ~ they were intended for.
Unissograff 'rakugaki art' workshops
Unissograff began in 2011 to help children affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake and devastating tsunami. Similar workshops were then held in Uganda and Cambodia. (Read more here)
In order to fund these activities, Unissograff uses a portion of the proceeds from our custom art products - where we create Unissograff artwork from individual children's drawings by order.
We then work with a selected charity to organise and run Unissograff rakugaki art workshops with children who live in suffering.
If you are interested in working with Unissograff to organise similar workshops, please contact us through our Partnership Enquiries page.
Similarly, if you would like to suggest a charity that you think may be aligned with Unissograff's values and activities, please do let us know.
If you would like to know more about Unissograff projects, or anything else on this site, please feel free to get in touch with us.
*Please note that Unissograff will never knowingly use children's drawings without prior permission.
**All artwork designs on this website appear with the permission of the original artists and their guardians. If you purchase a custom art course, your artwork and child's drawings will not be published without your permission.
