At a jazz club.
Two children paint their hands and feet and dance on a sheet to a live performance (playing "So What") of the jazz band.
Their footprints and handprints are left on the sheet, creating an improvised piece of artwork.
"A.B JAM 2021" is a collage by Unissograff artist ca37 using his own drawings and photographs, and the paintings entrusted to him by the children of the disaster-struck region of Tohoku.
An artistic 'jamming session' of jazz and art.
The design was created to represent its theme song, Mile Davis's Jazz piece "So What".Listen to the song on YouTube here.
The artwork is a collage of the rakugaki art drawings - based on the theme of "what I love most about my hometown" - made by children in Tohoku who lost their homes to the tsunami of the Great East Japan Earthquake, together with pictures drawn by Unissograff artist ca37.
